WHALE SHARK ENCOUNTER
The Sea of Cortez is home of this interesting Whale Sharks aggregation, giving you an opportunity to see a few of these giant gentle. They are found in the waters near La Paz Baja California, only 90 miles from Cabo San Lucas. It is the only place in the North American hemisphere where whale sharks can be observed. Whale sharks are the largest fish of the world’s oceans; despite the menacing look and very large size this predator doesn’t carry any danger to humans and other creatures. It feeds exclusively on small ocean creatures, plankton, crustaceans, and small schooling fish. Out of all of the activities we did when we visited Cabo, going on the snorkel tour with Lio and Wet Sky was by far our favorite!
